    Bad output speed sensor. Help!

    My check engine code tells me i have a bad output speed sensor. Does anyone have a diagram on this things location or instructions on replacing it. where you can buy one etc....

    thanks but i beleive mine is a bad output speed sensor, not engine. I pulled a different code then that one

    the sensor is on the side of your transmission... near the rear, it measures the speed of the transmission output shaft. it uses that measurement in correlation with the input shaft speed to determine when to change gear ratios. get a new sensor before you destroy your tranny.

    Is your tranmission a CVT?

    im not sure if its cvt or not, but im was told when the primary sensor goes up it automatically goes to the secondary sensor

    The reason I ask is b/c there is a TSB for this condition on CVT's which involves replacement of the TCM. PM me your VIN and the Pxxxx code you come up with when you interogate the ECM

    TSB? TCM? I think the code was P0722 Ill have to check the vin
