Stock suspension and YOU

Just wondering - how many miles do you have on your stock suspension, and how is it holding up?

I just picked up my 2004 with 98K, and it still seems to be rather intact.

Was thinking about going lower, but I don't want to lose ride quality + I live in pothole haven...

That and I'm still deathly afraid of my spring compressor since the last time I helped a buddy install springs in his DSM....

Mine had 48K when I changed it out to Koni/H&R. Ride quality is about the same IMO, a tad stiffer but not bad enough to complain about.

I swapped my stock suspension out with 39k miles. Suspension was skill like new. I upgraded to H&R coilovers

I literally just picked this thing up on Weds night, drove to Buffalo for the weekend for a wedding, came back, now it's back at the dealer lol

anyway back on to your topic... i got a killer deal on my v3's but new they are pretty pricy however i hear good things about the vogtland coils if you plan on getting susp.

LOL. 25K on my stockers and they are great. That said, I miss the tooth rattling ride of my old car, and will be going with the Ohlins set up ASAP.

The suspension should last a lot longer than 100k. That said, if you're interested in lowering and more importantly, getting a better handling yet smoother ride then I 2nd the suggestion of Vogt coils ... Startup Racing GT's are awesome !
