    The difference between 1.8t and 1.8T?

    I was driving the other day and wondered why some B5's and b6's have 1.8t with a red T, and other just have the standard writing color (chrome).. What is the difference between the red T and the standard T??

    I believe the red T is for sport like KO3S wich came on 2001 A4's. The turbo is not bigger but the internals are lil different. Someone with more knowelege on 1.8T's can chime in.

    no red T = 2000 or older A4 1.8T with 150hp (K03 turbo)
    red T = 2001 A4 1.8T with 170hp (K03S turbo)
