    Timing Belt on a 3.0L 2004

So, I have to do the job. I have done B6 A4 1.8T before and I was wondering, is there anything in special that I need to take into consideration when doing this job or it's about the same thing as the B6 A4?

    Thank you!

PS; I have searched a bit but didn't find exactly what I was looking for nor any DIYs.

Completely different and number of special tools needed. Wouldn't even consider it unless you have access to the tools. There's 2 big claw lookin gadgets to set cam timing (which can be tricky to install properly......), a a tool to lock the crank and a special socket to reset the adjuster mechanisim in both exhaust cam sprockets. The intake sprockets don't have to be reset.

Feel free to ask questions if you have access to the tools. Don't consider doing it without. Do it right or not at all type of deal.....ya know
