tripple square head bolt tool

Soo my new headbolts have the 12pt tripple square head, my old ones have the 6pt head on the bolts. So basically i need to get a 12pt head bolt tool or the right size tripple sqaure hex bit since my friends headbolt tool only has the 6pt polydrive on it... Does any one know where i can pick up such a item?

This head has been nothing but a headache(no pun intended :-p)I didnt know to use loctite on the bolt for the cam gear so the bolt backed itself out and demolished my old head. I got another head, only to find out it had bent exhaust valves, i ordered supertechs, a head gasket, and headbolts from bob... Got my valves installed a few days after i got the stuff... putting on the exhaust manifold two studs snapped without reason, not even tight.. replaced them. Went to go put my head on only to realize bob sent me the 10mm head bolts. I sent him an email and he was super cool and express shipped me the right bolts. I missed usps on saturday so i had to wait till today to get the bolts. Pop open the box and boom 12pt bolts, i only have the 6pt driver at the time...

You might want to see if bob will let you use a 12 pt for the bolts he sent you.

autozone, kragen, maybe napa, sears. take your pick. it'll be like 10 bucks, plus you get smaller ones for axle bolts, whatever..

triple square is hard to find. we searched hard for those badboys, even sears didn't have them

I got mine at sears, but a salesman who had worked there for 20+ years said he'd never seen them before.

tried sears, theres no way in hell the autozone here will have it, i dont belive we have kragen here, napa is a possibility but i doubt it... im attackin a bunch of pepboys here and gonna try the vdub dealership tomorrow.

But do they have a long enough shaft to get to the head bolt inside of the holes? He will need to find one that has just as long of a shaft as the poly drive.

You're looking for tool #3415 or something of the sort.
Whoever sold you those headbolts is pulling a bit of a scam on you. The triple square bolts have been discontinued for years. I guess no big deal really, just lame someone would sell you stuff that's been sitting on a shelf for years and years.

i got one from Carquest, guy had never heard it called a triple square tool, he knew it by another name but i forget what it was, but they had it in stock, it was covered in dust though lol
