Compass Problem

My directional rear view mirror compass is showing what looks like the letter C, any one have an idea of what it could be. thanks

C as in Calibrate, press reset on the back of the mirror and drive in circles like an idiot, works. The exact steps should be in manual.

Yes. Find an empty parking lot and make sure that the "C" is showing. Drive in a tight circle until the compass shows a direction.
