fender rolling

Hey i was wondering is there any guys that knows a shop over here in san diego that does fender rolling? LMK thanks i dont feel like renting the roller and doing it myself.

step 2: pvc pipe
step 3: roll fenders

step 5: no more rubbing= profit

worked for me. just make sure you heat it up enough so the paint doesnt chip. orrr you can go to a pro and spend 100+ bucks ot have it done.

can you elaborate a little more on #3 (i.e. techinque, etc.), seeing as it's the most difficult step?

just push the fender so that it's up using hte pipe. the metal will be soft enough to bend up. Just make sure you don't push too hard. only bend that lip that you're trying to. There's been a few other people that have done it too like this. others have used baseball bats with cloth over the ends, or even metal rods.

Well I'm gonna have to try the baseball bat technique. I can't find anyone in my area with a fender rolling tool, and I really don't wanna buy one. But I'm tired of hearing my brand new 245/35/19's rub my fenders...lol

I've seen these rentals and it looks like a worthwhile investment (albeit temporary). For $50 you have an actual "tool" to provide a consistent finish, versus [variable] man-made force applied via wooden sporting equipment. IDK, that's just me.

Group 5 is trying to charge me $95 a side i found a shop already. For you guys in san diego that needs to do this call Derek at 619-444-2300 he does both side for 100. The shop is called exalt motorsports really nice guys there.

Do it the damn right way and be done with it.. this (below) with a heatgun will do it super clean and can actually flare the fender a tad for even more clearance.
i paid 70 bucks for it to be done with that tool, heatgun and professionally done. It's a Audi not a honda.......

^^^That's EXACTLY how I plan to do mine. You can rent the kit from a couple places w/ the heat gun for like $50-75/week. I agree that this "Louisville Slugger" and flat-blade pliers crap is a little sketchy for a $42k [orig. MSRP] Audi...
