Students?

30yrs old and I'm back in school taking night classes.

Problem: Getting out of class at 9:30pm and being completely wired.
Solution: AZ Weekly GTG's for students who want to find a chill place to read, study and chat.

I live in SF but will travel! lol So lets hear it then, anyone up for some late night cafe-coffee shop study sessions? I've classes Mon, Tue and Wed nights and looking for anything to do after 10pm!

Damn America and their expensive mediocre education! I've been pretty happy with CCSF and everyone that I've spoken to thus far have stated that their experiences here has been greater than those at UCSF and State.

I usually park at the "reservoir" lot (I think that's what it's called). If you see me let me know.

I wouldn't necessarily call America's college education "mediocre" and "expensive".

Yes, it's not free, but if it were I would think the quality of education would be compromised, as is the case with the current K-12 "no child get's ahead" system. The UC and cal state system are great alternatives to the high cost of a private school.

As far as mediocre, look at the student demographic. Way more foreign student's come here to study than us leaving abroad to earn degree's. Around the world, more often than not, U.S. college's are regarded as the best in the world.

It's something to think about.

I grew up in Berkeley, and find myself out there atleast twice a week. In highschool, students would gather at Au Coquelet on University at 7am before biology class to study for exams. The teacher would give us all the questions on the exam that morning, then sometimes would drink (beer/wine) or smoke us out (he was crazy).
Anyways, I always loved studying there (for some reason huh).

No, I'm just making a solid attempt at returning back to school. If I get really ambitious and go for graduate studies, I'd like to enter med school. Nursing program is looking like a good alternative, maybe go CRNA or something.

I had a conversation with some SFFD guys and they were bitchin about this one company called Pro Transport-1. I had called Pro Transport-1 to transfer my grandfather to a hospital and SFFD ended up being dispatched. The SFFD paramedics were telling me ,"Pro Transport are a bunch of fuckin retards..."

I was like damn!
