Damn America and their expensive mediocre education! I've been pretty happy with CCSF and everyone that I've spoken to thus far have stated that their experiences here has been greater than those at UCSF and State.

I wouldn't necessarily call America's college education "mediocre" and "expensive".
Yes, it's not free, but if it were I would think the quality of education would be compromised, as is the case with the current K-12 "no child get's ahead" system. The UC and cal state system are great alternatives to the high cost of a private school.
As far as mediocre, look at the student demographic. Way more foreign student's come here to study than us leaving abroad to earn degree's. Around the world, more often than not, U.S. college's are regarded as the best in the world.
It's something to think about.
