Another S4 bites the Dust(the dusty side of a mountain)

August 30, around 545pm another audiziner(A4), a bmw E30 and myself with my stage 2+ S went for a very spirited ride around Helen, GA. the mountain roads weren't too packed and after a few minutes of riding we eased it up. As i cam around a turn, a car coming the opposite direction decided to come over the yellow line. I moved over closer to the right side of my lane, braked and just so happened to hit a patch of pebbly gravel tried to turn, which i could not do being that i was already sliding. My car starting sliding down the side of about a 35 foot drop, rolled onto the passenger side, then the roof, then on to the driver side resting with the bottom against a tree. No one was hurt, i was the only person in the car. i came away with some cuts and bruises, and a broken heart to see my S sitting there. So now its gonna be a part out and im gonna start fresh. Almost everything is good, except the roof. engine and tranny are good too. the car will be ready to part out soon, so look for it in the classifieds. Here are some pics of the damage.

Dude i was right behind him when all this happened. It was horrible seeing my friend sliding off the road! Thank God you weren't hurt! I will give it to the roof of Audi's, they are TOUGH. I am the one that took the pics on my phone, i was kinda shaking so the pics turned out blurry. This happened on Blood Mountain. The roof wasnt as caved in until they pulled it up the hill.

the cross was form another accident. apparently thats a pretty common place for stuff to happen. No the other driver was never caught. just one of those things i guess.

Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago, some guy swerved into my lane and to avoid him I swerved and hit a curb.. did some damage but nothing like what you've been though.

wow, and these are guys that lose their licenses, buy an S4 and dont know how to drive a manual xmsn, run on the low fuel light til their vehicle dies, and one that just so happens to mess with the real Army sluts. thanks for the compassion. im glad im still alive too.

damn dude that sucks. I am glad you made it out o.k. I love going driving up in the mountains but these kind of things are always in the back of my mind. I hope everything turns out alright for you and insurance covers the car.
