3.0L V6 Upgrading

Ok so I've read all over the forums about people and their upgrades to the 1.8T engine but not so much about the 3.0L V6, which is what I have. What are some affordable, effective upgrades.

Any examples and specifics help a lot more than "an intake" or "a turbo" as my knowledge of a lot of this stuff is slim to none at the moment.
