It would be cheaper for your to just repaint yours then it would to buy a new one and have it painted. That's what I did with mine. Plus, I really don't like the look of the others. I like the clean lines of the Non-Sline.

I'm one of the minority that like the non-Sline bumper better than the s-line. I do like the Oettinger bumper, but you could almost buy another car for the price of the bumper, paint, and matching Oetty grille Just get it resprayed.

Oettinger. Their prices are so reasonable now, you would be silly not to get it.

    You must be a ballar!

$1129 for the bumper + $479 for the matching mesh grille + the cost of painting the bumper = Too many $$$$ for me

You don't need to buy the grille. If you want your car to be unique an oetty front is going to set it off.

The Oetty bumper still takes a non-Sline/DTM size grille so the only other options are the "Phantom Black Perlescent" DTM grille ($605.94), or the standard "Blackout" DTM grille ($431.38), unless you want to use your original grill.

The problem is, if his bumper is chipped up enough to warrant replacement, then his grill probably isn't too pretty either. Also the OEM grille is grey in the center which would probably look strange next to the black mesh in the Oetty bumper openings.

If your gonna spend all of that money on the Oetty bumper & paint then you gotta just get the grille also to complete the look

    Re: bumpers

this decision is really up to you, your taste, and your wallet.

If you like one bumper over another and can afford it, go for it!

I personally love the s-line bumper. I have an '05.5 A4 and upgraded to an OEM+ look with the S-Line bumper and RS4 grille. It looks slightly aftermarket without being gawdy. Thankfully, the aftermarket companies for our cars have found a happy medium between aggressive and OEM - it just depends on your taste and preference.

That's bad-ass. I wish I had a hook-up at a body shop! Anyways, yes the Oetty grille should fit in the non-Sline bumper just fine.

As for the FK grilles, I think the all chrome ones and the ones with the ghetto LED's are pretty lame, but the plain black, and the black w/ chrome frame look pretty nice. I personally whouldn't want a badgeless one, but they'd probably look pretty good on the right car (like a completely blacked out car).

Oh and I just pwned myself since a few posts up I said:
The Oetty bumper still takes a non-Sline/DTM size grille so the only other options are the "Phantom Black Perlescent" DTM grille ($605.94), or the standard "Blackout" DTM grille ($431.38), unless you want to use your original grill.
but I forgot about the 6 different grilles FK just came out with that are all only $199
