Here in the DMV, we like things simplified! Clicking on North East. Clicking on North East: Mid-Atlantic. That equals two clicks...one too many clicks

How about editing some of the Stickies topics names? they are all for the DC metro area...would be nice to know that before reading.

Yes we'll be making changes and tweaks to the existing threads over the course of the coming days and weeks, but I don't want that to stop anyone from creating new threads as needed. Stickies can be made from them when applicable as well. For instance, a PA Sightings Sticky...

This also doesn't mean we won't be listening to you guys and aren't open to constructive feedback. If there are other/better ways of setting up the North East Regional Forum then we'll do it.

it sucks cuz the new posts in the north east doesnt always corrispond with the region I'm in. Harder to see if theres a new post in my specific region without having to go into the actual region. Less convenient and as the person above stated this is more of the Metro area of DC..

But weren't your threads getting lost amongst the many threads in the North East Forum as it was before? It was an even larger and more active forum that Mid Atlantic. You just don't see many for your area in here right now because we haven't moved them over yet.

Noooooooo - we had the Stickies the way we liked them. This forum section was personal to us Mid-Atlantic user's as a lot of folks knew one another on here. Chances are, i will never meet anyone from a city that's 4 hours away.

As I've said before, if it turns out that mistakes were made and there are better solutions, then we'll fix it. I'd like everyone to give it some time, give change a chance, and then come to us with your constructive criticism and feedback. Just saying "this sucks" helps no one.

Maybe this is just my opinion but this is what I was thinking about the regions:

North East:
ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI,

Tri-State:
NY, NJ, PA

Mid-Atlantic:
MD, VA, DC (maybe Delaware)
