    Nose Job?

I'm thinking about getting one...for my car that is.

I love how my B7 A4 looks except I wish the nose of the car was just a little bit shorter. I've been comparing A4 pics with RS4 pics and I dunno if it's an optical illusion since the front bumpers are different, but the RS4 nose looks shorter. I tried searching the forums using terms like "length" and "nose", but couldn't find anything specific about this. Wikipedia actually shows the RS4 being slightly longer, although not by much.

Maybe I'm just crazy, but if I'm not, hopefully someone has some info or maybe both an A4 and an RS4 to compare side by side . If there is in fact a difference, I wonder if just switching to an RS4 bumper would achieve the desired nose I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance for any info.

    Wow...Strange question...Plastic fantastic.
I don't think switching to the RS4 front will help you.

    Re: Nose Job?

the RS4 wont work. It has a widebody and the fenders and bumper of your A4 won't fit right. You could take it to a body shop and see what they can do. You could get the Deval RS4 bumper. check it out at eurogearusa.com I don't know about the length on those. you could contact them.

Thanks, I'll look into that bumper. Anyone got any side shots with that bumper on?

I say nose to describe the part of the car after the front wheels.

The Deval RS4 bumper definitely looks good. I'll have to consider it after I get my other mods..

I guess I'm trippin' since no else seems to notice this...oh well I should just stop nitpicking at my car and enjoy it..

    Re: Nose Job?

Nope, I don't care for the non-s-line nose either, never have. If you can stomach the fish mouth corporate grille, it still looks mousey from the side. Audi knows it too, in case anyone wonders why remaining B7's were all changed over to the S-line bumper, which is at least improved in its angles, shape, and simplicity. The approach angle, overhang/nose date the B7 badly, and really make it look a lot less sporty than it could; this has been corrected if you notice in the B8.

Know exactly what you're talking about, and have recently completed a nose job on our B7. Pics and details to follow soon. But as a style thing, it's quite subjective beyond measuring overhangs, approach angles, etc., so to each their own.

Looking forward to seeing what changes you've made.

I have an S-line bumper btw...so I think that remedies it somewhat.
