oem s4 suspension on an a4

Does anyone know if this will raise the car higher than stock a4 suspension? I heard that since the s4 is heavier, the shocks will be different on the a4. I'm reverting back to stock, and am considering putting the stock s4 suspension on my a4.

It will cause the nose to sit about 1 inch higher.

...Unless you fit just the dampers.

Spring rates, especially the front ones, are too high for an A4.

S4 will make it 4x4 status.

Did a sport suspension from a 2.8 on my A4. The springs made it sit exactly where the car was with the stock suspension.

    Not worth it IMO.

Although I did hold on to and am still using the sport shocks from the 2.8 setup and just paired them with H&R springs. Looks MUCH better now.

S4 shocks + aftermarket A4 springs look and ride good.

The struts are all the same size, valving may be slightly different.
The springs are different lengths and/on rates.

The struts can be used on any B5 Quattro but the S4 springs are too tall even for the S4.
