/begin rant

well not really lol im up at school at UCONN and i have my car on campus, but i dont have any place to wash it! it sucks so bad, i miss my hose back home lol i was just outside in the parkin lot scrubbin down the rims with simple green and paper towels...o well i guess you cant win em all

o and ps in the winter im puttin the stocks back on and i wanna do somethin with the color of the r8's, whether its black on the inside of the spokes, etc...so if you have any ideas hit me with it!

Do it like Ravi, it's like a gunmetal inside. There is an avant with the blacks inside and I didn't really dig it. Mine are just silver now (like yours), and I think I'm going to keep it that way, just looks right on a silver b6.

Yeah, I know what you mean! I go to Wake Forest! And my car has to be far away and I have no way of washing it properly other then driving home. It's getting old fast! College has been great thus far though!

Can't you just get a bucket of warm water, microfiber towel, drying towel & some spray on wax and be set? That's my game plan when I bring my car to college next year.

On topic, I like the way the R8's are painted, no need for flashy colors when they already look great on a silver b6. Then again, all personal preference/uniqueness.

Look up Optimum No Rinse.

Get a spray bottle and mix up a "quick detailer" (using ONR) and spray each panel before doing the actual washing with ONR.
