    Gum removal from carpet

I went to the store today and stepped in some gum before I got back into the car. I tracked some of it onto my floormat. It was really hot today so I was able to wipe alot of it up, but what's the best way to ensure that I've completely gotten it all out?

    Re: Gum removal from carpet

If you have any residual left that you can't get out, use an ice cube over the spot to "freeze" the gum which will make it harden so that you can essentially pick the rest out of the carpet.
