    ok as the title say, can a WRX STi shift knob fit on an A4 shifter??

    its not that i dont have a 6-speed, i just want the shifter, its much better style than the oem knob, and i just like the way it looks, any body want to help me out and give me a straight answer?

    Dont know how they attach.. Check on a Subaru forum and ask if there shift knobs screw on or how they mount.. see if you can get specific measurements.. then compare them to yours.

    yea i think it does. I bought a weighted shift knob for a subaru wrx and it fit on the b5 with no problems at all.

    It should fit. 98% of shift knobs are screw on and most of them are the same thread, if not it's plastic and it will make it's own thread you will just mess up the threads on the knob.

    Audi's thread size is M12x1.5. Don't know about Subaru's. Hope that helps.
