a tad lower, but will not give you aftermarket performance...what are you looking to get out of new suspension?

Re: how good is OEM sport suspension

Sport suspension paired with an RS4 rear sway bar will give you pretty good performance and drop you about an inch but you will still have about 3-4 inches of wheel gap. Coilovers will give you adjustability to tune your ride height and dampening while giving you GREAT performance especially when paired with summer performance tires. Also, depending on the coilovers you buy, the ride quality (bumpiness) will be a little bit stiffer but not too much different from OEM sport suspension. So, it is really up to what you are looking to get out of your setup. Personally, I think that the $1000 + labor for coilovers is well worth it.

dont make the same mistake i did..

i bought a used set of OEM sport suspension, for $150-200, had it installed for $375

ended up not being satisfied with its performance and ride height, bought used coilovers for $500-550, and had it installed for $400

save yourself the installation cost up front and go straight for performance shocks/springs setup or coilovers

I have the sport suspension and like the ride quality allot, but can't stand the wheelgap in front......
If you can afford it go for coils.

Re: how good is OEM sport suspension

there is no way that it gives you 3-4 inches of wheel gap. i only have 2 inches of wheel gap in the front and about 1 in the back on stock sport suspension

Oem sport suspension ? It SUX it's too soft for my tastes i feel unsafe when i drive the car around corners but in the highway it's ok though
Better to get some money and do it right the first time, go for coilovers pal

Re: how good is OEM sport suspension

Do they maybe have a different suspension in Greece? Because my tires will lose traction before I get noticeable body roll going around a corner.
