My air bag light has been on for a bit, im pretty sure its a connector, but i dont have VAG-COM so i cant pull any codes. Just wondering if there is one certain connection the has problems with a4s?

There are one under each of the front seats make sure they are tight.......then try to get a VAG-COM so you can clear the light and see if it comes back.

Mine popped up about a month ago and I tightened the connectors up, and reset the light....and it hasn't come back on yet!

my used to go off alot because of the connector under the drivers seat, every time my wife would slide the seat forward it would make the connection come lose. I just put a zip tie around it holding the connection tight, so far no problems.

I have a 99 as well and my airbag module just went out this year. It just died one day for no good reason. Bought a used one from www.shokan.com for $285. Had to use the VAG-COM to configure it for my car. Find someone with a VAG near you and see what the fault code is. Mine was
