Headlight choice....

Im looking to get aftermarket headlights for my b7 a4, ive come across a number of different brands and types, im just wondering which would look the best. I really like the angel eyes, but ive had some trouble trying to track them down. If someone could help on this decision itd be greatly appreciated. thank you

there really are not any aftermarket choices.

So far, there are only 5 different kinds, 3 of which are easily obtained in US.

#1 US spec OEM bi-xenon
#2 US spec reflector halogen
#3 EU spec OEM bi-xenon
#4 EU spec reflector halogen
#5 DEPO projector halogen + angel eyes

#1, 2 and 5 are readily available in the states(although #1 will get pricy if you need them in a hurry), but most people are not so fond of the depo lights.
you can get EU spec bi-xenon kits from Jens (username on forum is lowestA4) if you have US spec halogens.
US spec halogens are readily available, and are usually inexpensive.. but they are not really desired.

in summary, there really isn't much choice for headlights. DEPO is the only manufacture of aftermarket lights right now, but the light pattern isn't very even and therefore doesn't look very good.

heres my car with stock projector HIDS and CCFL's. in person, it looks alot more defined. the camera captured too much light around the headlights so it looks messy.

Get over the whole bmw vs audi thing. It's a matter of taste and it's a great mod to set your audi apart from others. Superman, what did you do with your citylights?

LED's last longer and look different. check out the links above and as well as some threads made by audiwxguy

Looks like the CCFL lights fill/glow better as opposed to the dotted LED version. I love angel eyes, just wish there was a plug and play version where I don't need to toast my lights and take a chance on $800+ lights.
