Those BBS race wheels are insane. Too bad they only come in 18's. Great if you're on the track 24/7 but for around town it's kinda nice to rock the 19's.

I am so tempted to drop some cash on those HRE's. Gotta hold off.

i agree. that will depend more on wheel design. centered weight is much better than weight distributed evenly or towards the outside diameter of the wheel. it is called rolling mass. but then, this mostly matters if you track the car.

You know what I heard over the weekend...
that using tire wet over time causes the cracking of the sidewall from the tread of the tire.

My dad was getting some new michelin's put on his car (the olds began exhibiting this cracking near the end of their lives), the lady said that tire shine products have been known to cause this.

depends on what tire shine products your using and how often your using them. But all in all....its bullshit because tires that are dryrotted from lack of moisture and tire shine will do the same thing. And more likely to cause the sidewalls crackling. And lastly....moisture on the inside of the tire will definitely cause crackling....which is why nitrogen is recommended instead of regular air because it contains no moisture.

As for the rims.....I think they look sweet!!!! Needs some tire shine and maybe some better picture taking but they do look awesome!!!

honestly the pic is weak and i see what some of you mean...but just went to bbq took a look back and they look ill as f*ck...pic does do it justice...i was doubting and thinking of making the whole wheel silver (alloy) stock color...but not sure yet

I'm not really feeling those wheels at all. The stock RS4's look better with some spacers IMO.
