    Hard Time Deciding...

Trying to decide which shift knob to go with. I think I like the sphere without the stump better, but the one with the stump has some more weight on it. What are you opinions?

I say the one with the stump, has a cleaner look imo.

    Re: Hard Time Deciding...

i say right because it would feel a little easier to grab. if you need to reach down fast you can grab all of the knob insted of some of the knob and some of the surround.

neither, a metal shift knob is too hot to touch in the summer and uncomfortably cold in the winter.

    Re: Hard Time Deciding...

^ this is true. I pub a sock over mine, which defeated the purpose of a shift knob. i have a Razo ball knob in black chrome. it's a decent knob, but i kind of like the stock knob or the jhm aluminum better

    Re: Hard Time Deciding...

^jhm aluminum will get hot also. Yes, it'll get hot/cold but thats what a sock is for. I'm getting the knob for the reason that it's weighted and there is a benefit to that. I'm also looking and getting quotes of doing a possible coating to resist some of the heat/cold.
