word. it's easy to overlook the obvious sometimes... glad you are worry free again Chris! Did you ever do a compression test on the motor without removing the 4 ecu management fuses?

No. I'm going to drive it for a week and let the rings gets back to normal. I'm hoping some of the blow by will subside. Then I'll recheck compression.

I'm not sure how it blew, could have been from unplugging or plugging in the ECU, who knows.

I was tracing/inspecting the harness from the o2 connector the the ECU. I noticed that a G/Y wire didn't go to the ECU but into the cabin. I knew it could go to the fuse box, so I starting checking them.

Damn, now I need to figure out why I get such shitty MPG. Glad you figured your stuff out though, I know it would've been a lot easier if you were mostly stock like I am. (I'm just going to check easy things plugs, fuel filter, etc).

I'll let you guys know what I get to a tank now. I was getting ~180 miles per tank. I expect about 100 mile increase.

If I were you, I would go to the dealer, tell them listen, my car is not getting the MPG as advertised. Also tell them you drive it nicely and you fill it with Octane XX. Please fix my car. Usually they scan it for errors as well.

In my case, I told them about my poor MPG, but I had the fuel pump messed up, which meant that the readings were not correct. So they replaced the fuel pump and asked me to fill up the tank and see how many miles I will get. I am still convinced that I am getting poor MPG, so I will probably come back to them again. My car also happens to be eating more oil than it should, so that could be or could not be related.
