Did a search still need help

Me and a buddy are doing the clear corner mod today on his 02 A6, and my 03 A4. I have the DIY for the A4, but just curious if it is the same steps for the A6. From the two threads I found it sounds a little different, but they are just to vague. We have the lights out of the A6 already just need help getting the orange markers out. Thanks in advance.

    Here is a good thread

Look under A6, clear corner mod for dummies
You can also use the oven or heat gun method to pry it apart, which ever you feel more confident doing?

Use a hairdryer. That will soften the rubber/glue so you can pull the face off. Then make sure to use a flex silicone to put back together. You will still have the origional material still there so reheat with the dryer and press firm then use the now silicone to prevent moisture.

best way to get the amber piece out if you have the headlight in your hand is to do the following:

take out the blinker bulb. with your finger, apply pressure until the amber piece pops off. its held in by clips. once the amber piece is free, there should be 3 screws holding in the projector lens. un screw that and slide the lens out of the way. shake the housing until the amber piece falls out of the hole for the lens. easiest way imo. no drilling or prying apart the headlight or baking anything.

    good luck!
