Humming noise at exactly 10.5 Vacuum???

Has anyone have any idea what this could be? The car doesnt slow down or act any differently....It just makes a somewhat loud humming noise when the vacuum is at that point. As soon as you give les or more throttle, it goes away.

    Ideas??

Is it from the boost gauge, ie buzzing?

Do you still have good vacuum past 10.5? Could be a vacuum leak noise as air is ucked into the system from atomsphere...

The APR R1 DV has been known to get noisy. You may be hearing the transition where the vacuum pressure equals the DV spring pressure.

Its weird I have no problem whatsoever with my car. No vac loss no boost loss. nothing.

I guess its just the DV being noisy

It's from the boost gauge. Mine began doing that as soon as I installed the gauge.

is it a humming noise, or does it sort of sound like a light rattle?

It sounds like a tire rubbing against something basically.
