    i recently have moved to california 3 months ago, and my car has been stalling randomly on start up. the car always got 93 octane in NY and all they have is 91 here, could it be related?

    No the gas grade isn't causing you to stall unless it was bad gas with water in it. Do you fill up at big name gas stations? Small gas stations tend to get the bottom of the barrell fuel from the major companies. Have you changed your fuel filter or run your tank to E often?

    Check the air too. Take off the hose at the throttle body and look inside to make sure there isn't any buildup causing the throttle plate to stick. If so, clean with carb cleaner and a rag.

    Had this problem and the car would start then stall immediately when first started in the morning.

    i usually get chevron 91 so i think the gas is good, maybe it is the throttle body, thanks guys!
