Those with H&R sport springs.....is this how your front wheel gap look like? PICS*

I have the H&R sport springs with the Bilstein shocks setup. (for about 3 weeks now)

Coming from the Eiback Springs, i am very happy with the ride quality and the fact that it lowered the whole car another 3/8"-1/2"

I just thought the front wheels would have less of a gap.Does it look likemy car has an anti-rake effect going on?

BTW, Sorry for the crappy cellpics (Blackjack 2) and dirty car Oh yea: 235/35/19 tires

    Front Gap:

    Rear gap:

looks like a nice drop... measure from the ground to top of fender and see how low it is on all 4 wheels

    25 1/4" rear
    25 1/2 front

Although that could simply mean the design of the fender is higher......

IIRC correctly the front fender is slightly higher from the ground giving you that reversed rake look... hence why people eventually just go coils to get the look they want. If you measured from the ground to bottom of the rocker panel behind the front wheel and the front of the rear wheel, I bet you would find that you aren't at a reversed rake...

Adjust your Bilstein perch. Take a look at the perch to see where it is seated on the shock. There should be about 4 levels.

Re: Those with H&R sport springs.....is this how your front wheel gap look like? PICS

thats how mine looks, i want it lower in the front. rear is fine though. my bilstiens only had 1 perch though? just the a round metal "dish" that slides over the shock until it hits the stopper, then the spring sits on that dish. if you figure out a way to make it lower, let me know. thanks! oh and i cut my bumpstops in half both front and rear.

this is why i went with Tein's springs. 2inch drop my front tire has no gap meets my 17' wheel perfectly. i have yet to put the back springs in. Fear of having my rear lower then my front. but i have the sports suspension in the rear and almost at no gap.

    bump.

After going over a bunch of pics, its seems as though my front still sits higher than what I think it should be.

When installing the front springs (H&R sport) I did NOT load up the suspension before tightening the bolts down......besides premature bushing wear is it possible that tightening up all the bolts before loading up the suspension has forced the front to sit up higher?

im wondering this same thing because my front looks just like yours. im unsure which bolts we would need to leave a little loose if this is the case. i dont see what would keep them from settling in the front.
