    Anyone try removing the stock resonators and keep the stock exhaust?

    Like the title said. I want a cheap fix to louden up the exhaust with going to a full cat back. Are there any cheap options out there?

    Don't do it! someone else did it and you can see the vid on youtube. It sounds like an exhaust without resonators. Terrible, IMO.

    If you can't part with the ducketts right now, just go and get some magnaflows welded on.

    It's an RS4 but you get the point.

    2nd 3rd 4th

    I tryed this and it sounded like crap. I have Dp's it made it worse. Definitely get some magna's or what ever your preference is. I did flowmaster turned out great. All depends on what you think sounds good. But definitely don't go the yank and don't replace route

    I removed my resonators. It had a little rasp too it and almost like a pinging noise at some points, so it was kind of on and off, but most of the time it sounded very good. When it was cold though it didn't sound as good. I liked it, personally. It definitely opened it up and made it a bit louder.
