    Horny tip problems

OK guys I really need help with this one.
A few months ago like early June I noticed that my tiptronic shifters on the steering wheel where not working, and not being a very aggressive driver I hadn’t noticed that my horn was not working either until much later I assume they are related but I have no idea what could be wrong I checked the fuse and it seems to be fine. What else could cause this problem?
    Thanks guys.

    Re: Horny tip problems

Quick question, would our cars have a contact spiral in the steering column? As far as MB's, that is a root of where to start looking as far as horn problems, and other various things. Could that be a possibilty?

    Re: Horny tip problems

So no help guys? Come on someone has to have had similar problems, no?
I checked fuses and they are fine.
I would check the wires but I don't know where to start, plus I really don't want to go into the wheel (I don't want airbag in my face)
    Thanks.

try usin some KY jelly around the steering column, than gently move it around a bit...
