I was wondering if there are any bi-xenon kits for the a4 that you recommend?

    Thanks,

    Re: bi-xenon kits?

aaahhh...dude, you better edit that post up real quick 'fore you get bashed for wanting to stick hids in stock halogen housings. "glare!" "fire!" "brimstone!"

you can, but the halogen housings aren't meant for HID bulbs, and the focus will be all wrong, sending far too much light (even with low beams) into oncoming drivers' faces. some states (or just cops having a bad night) may ticket you for some off-road lighting accessory thing.

so yes, i am new to modding as well as this car. so if I were to order this set from ECS...the clear corners are already set? also, will I need anything extra as far as to get them to work? I have the weak stock halogen set that has what looks like the Sun's sperm spewing out from them. and I want to have some nice headlights.

thanks for all the help everyone.

Yeah they already have clear corners because they are the European version. I'm not sure how wiring Bi-Xenons in a halogen equipped A4 goes, but I do know you need to change the settings in your ECU (with a VAG tool) to make them work properly. Also, I don't think they even come with the ballasts and bulbs...

    Oh, and LOL at VVVV

    Re: bi-xenon kits?

OP, You should try Hoen Xenonmatch bulbs.

Also, I too was madly in love with that RS4 pedal set, until i found out it is actually slip ons that go over your current pedals and therefore seem extremely expensive for what they are. They look kinda bulky too. I don't see why someone doesn't just do RS4 pedal replica set, where you actually replace your old pedals.

I'm thinking the same and REALLY hoping the sale they mentioned in their grand opening invitation thread applies to all dealers. Daddy needs a new pair of GO.

Off topic, quick question, but has anyone have blacked out reflector/halogen headlights? I'd love to see how that looks on a DG.

    Re: bi-xenon kits?

For bi-xenon kits I ordered ones OEM from performance cafe and when I got them, they weren't clear cornered. I was told that the clear corner only come on the RS4 later models. I guess make sure you find out they are clear corner for sure before u spend a couple grand.

ECS is too expensive... PM lowestA4 or get the DEPO headlights which may require a HID kit but will definitely get a better look

hey guys, so does anyone have the hoen xenonmatch installed? i thnk this is the route for me for now as well since i'm not at full baller status as of yet.

also, if i were to get them, should I worry about anything else that i would have to do? like the cables or melting of my housing and whatnot? thanks in advance!

I have them and I love them. They do slip on, but are a bitch to slip on and are extremely solid. You can't tell they are slip on and they don't move around. I'm happy.
