Boo for the Auto tranny on the IS. I guess I understand though, My 5spd didn't like my PF kit too much. Auto handles power much better. Whats up with the Gay Angel Eyes on the IS too? You do realize it's not a BMW right?

And all kinds of other obvious things to go along with it. I just recently installed the bigger turbo and am having it tuned tomorrow actually in Maryland, long ass drive. HP wise Im going to keep it under 500rwhp. Car still drives like stock and is actually pretty quiet until the dump opens. Auto tranny is actually pretty nice because of the e-shift.

As for those bimmer looking halos. Trust me I thought the same thing for the longest time till I saw them in person. Unbelievably bright and IS300 has perfect headlights for them. Plus I wanted new headlights so ordered them the way they are.

Thanks guys. Yeah im defintely keeping the audi as stock as possible. I actually just had the abs module rebuilt, and put that in today. My guess is when that goes out you lose traction control right due to no abs? I just have to hook to vagcom to clear the lights off.

And ill let you know how the tune goes with the lexus.

I don't think B5 A4s have traction control..maybe the 2001.5

What is the ETC button for? And I have a symbol on my dash with an upside down i with something around it and lights up orange in the center of the dash. I am guessing that is the sybol saying traction control is off.

2002 actually. I held out on getting one in 01 cause the manual was coming in 02. It actually was a Very weak tranny. It could barely handle stock power, let alone boosted. I had mass tranny problems with mine. Lexus always stood behind the product and always fixed it. I sold mine to my buddy and miss it everytime I see it.

I think that means taht there's something wrong with your car. It may be as simple as low windshield washer fluid or as complicated as low oil pressure.

lovely IS, what numbers are you putting down with that turbo kit.

Yeah the manual tranny's in the is300 usually grenade at 300hp and somtimes less. And its around a 5-10k upgrade depending on whether you go with an mkIII supra tranny or the mk4 getrag 6spd, which is big $$$$. So I saved a lot of money on that end of it.

Today there were some issues at the dyno session. End up to have a coolant leak from a small hose that goes from water neck to throttle body, in an area where ill have to take power steering pump off to get to it. He basically just fixed my tune that the previous guy screwed up, and couldn't get the car past 15psi anyway. Made just over 400whp. I need to get a new WG spring, only has 7psi spring in which 15psi is my max until I take care of that. Still pulls strong and am hitting the track this Friday in hopes for some new numbers, even though my previous tune with 60-1 made 438whp at 15psi. So who the hell knows.

You and your car have too much fun. How much was it to upgrade the tranny and what all was done to it?

tranny upgrade was like 1,200 all together. Valve body, sprag gear, clutch packs, and tranny cooler. Good for upper 500's reliably.
