The gauge kit will include:

Drop-in vent gauge pod
Mechanical boost gauge - with a range of up to 30 psi (boost), and -30 mmHg (vacuum).
Boost gauge wiring harness
Rubber vacuum hose - 10 ft long
In-line vacuum line filter
Vacuum hose T-tap
Assorted wire taps
Misc. additional mounting/installation hardware
*The gauges come with either amber or white illumination, both will have an illuminating red gauge needle.

Our integrated vent gauge kit is designed to be a direct OEM replacement piece, with no extra modifications necessary to the vents or the vent housings. All vent functions, excluding the sideways and up/down tilt, will remain functional. Everything is completely reversible, if you ever decide to return the car back to stock.

Is there really any use for this if your car is stock? Besides the look.

Yea, it doesn't hurt to have this. I've seen some guys run these on their stock cars, only to find out that they were having vacuum leaks and that they weren't running at full boost.

Whether it be stock or not, the use for the boost gauge is the same. It helps verify that your car/engine is running at what it is expected to be running at.

Also just to clarify for some people.

Our kit comes with our own silcone fittings and a 2nd anti-buzz fitting for the silicone fittings. This is on top of the anti-buzz air filter, to help keep the air going to the gauge clean. It really comes with everything and more.

Just to let you know... I installed this (love it). It is a lot brighter than the B6 gauges and is kind of distracting. I messed around with the resistors in the power line and found that a 1/4 watt 100ohm resistor gives the best stock look. You could put more resistance but since the led lights from the top of the gauge it wont even illuminate the bottom part of the gauge. so if you want to tone it down a bit put one of those resistors in the line.

Glad you like it, and that you were able to figure out the resistor thing. It is a tricky thing to get to work, since like you said, the bottom half won't light up if it isn't getting enough power.

I've heard some of my customers installing/tapping the power wire to the dimmer, and doing it that way. Now I know that at least there is another option, if needed.

If an oil change was a 2, I would say this would be a 3-4. Others can give their inputs on it as well.
