I really don't know where I'm supposed to go from here, because apparently 3rd gear pulls are worthless for logging? I'm still in search of a road to do 4th gear pulls on.

    Re: codes codes codes

Did you happen to have a MIL? The ECM will store random codes, I get goofy security stuff all of the time.

Third gear is fine for logging you may just be missing the boat, 6 seconds is just a tiny snapshot of what is going on, you need to put a load on the motor and hold it for a bit. Without any stress on the motor, you will not see what is really going on.

    Re: codes codes codes

I just don't get it haha. Should I be starting at 2k rpm WOT until 7k rpm?
And yeah, I had a check engine light, I keep getting the idle higher than expected. Idle is at 800 rpm though. I just cleared all of the above codes and will report on whether they come back or not

    Re: codes codes codes

Drive the car normally, shift into 4th gear at a very low RPM (2400) and slowly depress the gas pedal, the RPMs will climb to about 6,000 and hold them there for a bit (10-15 seconds) you may get up to about 80mph so be careful as that most likely exceeds the speed limit.

Since this setup is a fairly new install, you may want to have a friend in the car to watch the CF for you, if you are seeing greater than 6 under load you may want to back off timing a bit. Your requested and actual A/F were pretty much spot on, it is not likely you will see a fueling issue. All you really need to be concerned with is maximizing your potential based upon your enviroment.

    Re: codes codes codes

yes thank you. For some reason I thought I just had to go WOT to log cf's. I still have that boost issue, I can't even get the thing to spike 20 psi on b8. requested boost is just way too low. (still haven't gotten my mbc from ecode... it's somewhere supposedly..maybe)

    Re: codes codes codes

alright final update, I actually called ecode and as I got my tracking number from them for my mbc, UPS pulls up and hands it to me. Got that installed in 5 minutes (so so easy) and dialed it in/set boost at b9. First pull held 24 psi, effing n75. Dialed it in to 21 psi, and put a big smile on my face.

Now I just need to convince somebody to ride along with me on the highway to get some cf readings to up my timing (running t5 right now)

    3 Faults Found:
16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too High
    P0103 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
Pulling more than 229g/s, sometimes it happens with the Eliminators, should not trigger a DTC though
16891 - Idle Control System RPM Higher than Expected.
    P0507 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
Most likely a vacuum leak, check your lines
16795 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
    P0411 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded
Air pump is not correctly installed (ie the tubing from the airpump is not connected to the airbox and intake manifold)
    Readiness: 0000 1100

Sometimes when installing a FMIC or turbo setup you find that the air pump tubing is a little to short to reconnect because things have moved, what you can do it cut it in half at one of the flat smooth sections and add a piece of tubing from Home Depot in there to make it longer, use a little bit of silicone inside the tubing and slip the hose inside. You can then wrap it with black rubber electrical tape to make it nice and black and also seal too.

    Re: codes codes codes

yeah I forgot to mention I removed the sai pump and plugged both ends. Also my gauge is reading 22inHg vac at idle, and I know my gauge is reading dead on.
I don't see where it's actually pulling more than 229g/s?
and there's really nothing to worry about on the abs brakes?

    Re: codes codes codes

You do not see because it did not take place during you actual log, most likely it happened down low in first gear when you were romping on it.

MAF will not trigger a MIL, your airbox issue has caused the MIL.

Did you go into group 3 to clear the code for the ABS? It looks as if you did a total scan of the entire car, you will need to go into each group and clear the codes specific to that group.

    Re: codes codes codes

You may want to try to replace the MAF sensor or try running with it unplugged, the ABS code is insignifigant, basically the ECU uses the input from the ABS sensor along with the MAF readings to calculate torque, something is not jiving between the two.
