They work great as they are specifically designed to work the the stock A4 master cylinder AND of course they look great on the B6 .

The over all piston diameter is smaller then the Alcon setup, less pedal drop.
However any BBK will have a slightly longer pedal travel. I've driven a B6 with 6pots & it was fine. My B5 was fine with 6pots. It does take a few drives to get used to new brakes. The first stop, you will way over brake, & be held back by the seat belt.

b5s4 brakes, thats more of a used part find.. someone with a b5 who is upgrading to a bbk...

only problem with your setup is the stock rears look silly with those beautiful, huge rotors! alcon has a nice, reasonable rear setup!

bump for a great deal for some unbelievable brakes!

We don't normally do used parts. But we might have a used set of B5 S4 brakes sitting around. Slotted rotors are a good choice, SS lines are ALWAYS GOOD!

We also offer a REAL 4-pot rear BBK that would match up perfectly!

My B5 S4 had the Stasis rear kit, it's very nice!

The cylinders are actually tiny. I have a four pot caliper with a larger overall area than these, and it works fine.

they are smaller overall... ,much like the rs4 8 pot setup... squeezes on more area of the rotor which is a good thing!

The piston swept area is greater then the stock brakes, since there are 6 pistons pushing the pad, you get better modulation, feel & more swept area of the pads hitting the rotor.

Do those rear brakes (Brembo) retain the parking brake feature?

Better modulation than what? The pathetic stock single piston sliding design? Yes, but what isn't better... However, compared to a four larger piston design, six/eight smaller pistons are not better/easier to modulate, it's the opposite.

No. Brembo makes a mechanic e-brake system that bolts right up and uses the stock cables and all.

Yes, better then stock, yes that isn't hard. However, more pistons will give you better feel over fewer. Most BBK's have progressive pistons, that also give better feel & modulation. Basically, the more pad/rotor swept area & pushing area on the pad, the better feel & modulation.

I will always pick a 6-pot over a 4-pot of the same size.

Thanks! I'm not running a e-brake plus my ride is tiptronic equipped so really no need. I plan on getting the e-brake setup from brembo, if I can get it priced for under $800
