VAST Stage 3 chip upgrade anyone??

So ive had VASTs fueling kits for about 3 months and the CEL never seems to go off,,fuel trim issues..lumpy idle at cold start. Prince at VAST is sending me out a chip upgrade that should resolve the issue. Just wondering does anybody have it and did they notice a difference?

hey man whatsup... are you working off their OTS file or have you logged your car and gotten revisions ?? my first chip didn't have the problem which is the base OTS tune. that sucks.

you say lumpy idle @ cold start? what do you mean by that go into detail.. I had a starting issue as well and forever I thought I had to replace my fuel pump and it turned out to be my dam battery! I found that out because i jumped a car and the following day it progressively got worse like my car almost wouldnt turn over... so i get a new battery, no hesitation at all. battery was 8 years old!

I run Vast and its great. I would diagnose your car to make sure nothing else is jacked up. You could have other lurking issues. My car purrs like a kitten even when its cold out. And I am in Denver where most software has issues. I went around and around with file updates just to find a bad N75 once, which is why I suggest checking your hardware.

strange, all VAST products seem to be of the highest quality and work great, hmm...maybe it's something else?

Currently still have OTS but did log and now awaiting revisions from VAST...and I bought a new battery last year. The car doesnt turn over right away at crank takes a while to turn over then revs jump to 1500ish and slowly taper to idle (this doesnt always happen, sometimes starts right up) after that car runs fine..btw I did bypass the N75 b/c i broke 2 of them and have a MBC set at 23 psi...Prince said this set-up is fine as long as weather or altitude doesnt change drasticly..
