this is a GENJDM Kit, and not a $20k ASP GARBAGE Kit (garbage is harsh, but for that much cake, its garbage)

-this isnt even $10k, what is would cost to get KO4's running. the truth is, this kit is not MUCH more than a KO4 kit. get in touch w GENJDM, i believe his pricing is reasonable, considering other kits are more and dont have manifolds, or come w manifolds that you'd never want to have on your car.

-ASP's Manifolds are a joke. for $20k, they should not only be way stronger, better designed, etc, but they might as well be relocated too. do you have any idea what they SHOULD charge for that soda can crap? anyone been on ebay recently (obx, lol) im sorry, 700+hp... mid 11sec 1/4mi? 700+hp prove it to me...

-secondly, i dont care how proud or pretentious ASP/VAG are about their performance, but their kits have given KO4 heads fuel to bicker that KO4 setups are better, cheaper, faster etc to GT's, especially bc of the PRICE!!!

-but the reality is, GT's are FAAAARRR superior to any BW turbo. and w a tubi manifold on a good tune, all you guys will soon see that these cars fly (even faster than KO4 or RS6's). going back to my main point, a GT Kit can be had for an affordable price and that's where GENJDM comes in.

-99% of you havent been in, seen, or run a GT car- i have. you KO4 guys can keep blathering (MARC and his groupies) about how GT's this n that, $, blah, blah, blaaaaaaah. yea, a well running KO4 car is fast. DAAAAAMN fast. fast enough to pretty much be king of the road. but you have no idea.

-after all these GT's are done, tuned, run, etc... it'll be clear which setup is superior.

-lastly, it is not for everyone... you can def have comparable performance w KO4's, NO DOUBT. but realistically, on the same car w same conditions etc, even a well running KO4's car will look like its standing still, esp when it gets to 100+mph. TRUST ME... =)

i think iv covered all the bases for today. sorry for the rants, but yall dont need lots o bread like you think to get that buttuh!

est hp, great question. well, ill answer it this way...

KO4's are rated for 200hp per turbo, right? approximately 10lbs per turbo, which works out to 20lbs. which makes sense, bc a STAGE 3 at 18-20 lbs (efficiency range) should produce ~400hp.

so that's 400hp (+/- 40hp) for STAGEIII. 360-440 depending upon dyno, tune, etc.

the GT's that i chose are good for 250hp each. that's the rating from Garrett. however, they are good for 14-16lbs per turbo, meaning i could run 28-30psi. the hp usually works out to boost x's 20. so that would be 560-600.

that makes sense, as 250hp each is conservative average. so considering that im doin this on a built motor, and have the GT's with inconel (diff metal, which practically doesnt heat up), means i can run my setup hard and w higher boost, and not have to worry about the turbos... i should be able to reach the average (which is expected).

id love to have 550 on pump daily driver. and w the race/kablooey tune, low 600's+hp would be nice. who knows... im getting WAAAAY ahead of myself.
let's just hope the ****** cranks when the time comes... ;-)

Well in K04's defense, their kits including a fueling kit, the fueling is going to run you close to 2k for a proper setup. Granted K04 setups don't include downpipes...tit for tat.
