sweet, i just ordered a 6000k kit from them for my depo ecodes. Same ones or did you get the OEM ones? If you got depo's, I head some people have to make adjustments to get the turn signal bulbs in... you have to do anything?

mine came with everything besides the 9006 plug, i just bought one from ebay for $8 shipped. If you have a wrecking yard nearby you can cut on from any car that uses a 9006 bulb (honda manily). So it had the ds2 plug, ballast and bulbs.

i have the OEM ecodes, the turns you have to play with the stock ones to get them to fit, you just put one tab in th ehousign first then line up the others then it will eventually fit in.

Re: Just installed my 55w DDM slim ballasts, they fit nicely in the stock location

Well i have to admit that i was lazy.

But I had already installed a set for my friend's Lotus elise and he told me he had paid $140 for the kit and picked up from San Diego, so he didn't pay shipping.

He also said shipping within the States is $30, that's why I asked you guys where you ordered from and how much did you pay. Reason i asked because the shipping is quite expensive, and i am from Canada, so i assume the shipping will be more expensive.

This kit definitely fits nicely, and you can basically double-sided tape or mount it anywhere. The only time consuming thing i had to do for him was to cut a hole on his stock rubber gourmet and fitted the bulb base through it and of course sealed it afterward.

So if you have stock head lights, do you need any extra shizz? ie A wiring harness or what? Or do you just select D2S bulbs and your all set?

Re: Just installed my 55w DDM slim ballasts, they fit nicely in the stock location

uh. cause the audi ballast power side plug isnt a 9006 plug. in fact its not a common type plug i dont think. so its definately needed to splice the 9006 on it to adapt it to the power side on the DDM ballast

DDM puts a 9006 on it because it is the most common solution.. they do actually make adaptor harnesses for extra money (im not sure for our cars) but why not take 10 min and splice it yourself and save the money

you can get a 9006 plug at any autozone/kragens/napa/carquest.. or any junkyard.. yes some hondas have them. but youll have an easier time getting one out of the hundreds of GM products in junkyards instead of the 3 or 4 hondas they may have.

    very easily accessible and cheap.
