AWE Tuning exhaust

Just wondering if anyone has or has had an AWE Tuning system on their B6? Impressions? Quality? Looking to buy one, want to make sure it's nice

I have it and like it alot. The quality is top notch. Perfect tone and volume in my opinion. AWE makes quality products.

Sorry, had to do it. I've heard AWE from inside a car and it drones more than I'd like. If you like the AWE look out for Thermal stuff also. AWE claims they aren't the same, but they look identical. Outside of the car I like the AWE sound.

It's a sweet system. Nice sound and near perfect fit. I was just there getting my injector program done.
AWE is one of the few tuners that I will let touch my car. Not like my car is great or anything, but you know what I mean.

When I was looking for a full exhaust I wanted it to sound as close to stock as possible, but to me, perfromance > sound. I ended up getting a great deal on an AWE exhaust/FMIC combo and couldn't pass it up. Quality is top notch.
I already had an ER test pipe and the combo of the AWE exhaust/TP...it is a little louder & drone's more than I wanted; but not so terrible that I want to take it off/exchange it for a different one. (again..you'll get used to it)

I'd try to take a sound clip for you, but it would never sound like it acutally does in person. As for the drone, I had a 99 Mustang GT w/o cats and flowmaster 40's...and the drone is no where as bad/loud as that .

After weighing what I origionally wanted and what I ended up with...I like the AWE.

im happy with my awe as well. ive had for 3.5 years and its great. ive never had a complaint about the drone. my 4year old nephew had no problem taking a long nap in the back seat from Orange to Phoenix.

IIRC, the car on the video has a BT.

I was only chipped when i got my awe exhaust and when i went k04 it sounded a lot meaner.

Got it...hands down the best there is. Sound quality will not upset the neighbors and the build quality is perfect....too bad it is under the car...it's like jewelry.

i love mine. it's loud. but i love it still. just the way i wanted. the only exhaust i like better is on my friends S4, but he has twice the motor as us (most of us).. haha.

i wish they had different tip options, because i like the rolled tips better, but they're still pretty cool.. and a definite quality system, and sounds amazing.

How difficult is this to install? I'm thinking of getting one in the next couple weeks, and i'm wondering where I should take it to get it installed. Midas said they could install it for 60 bucks. Any suggestions with this?

i think the way you drive dictates the amount drone. it seems like most sport exhausts are a little dronry at low RPM's.

overall, i'm very, very happy with my AWE.

the sound it makes when you are getting into it totally makes up for the drone. especially when you go catless. Sounds Bad ass

Yeah... I called last week and they said it was going to take 2 weeks at the most to ship the system. I called twice actually because I need to get another system pretty quick because I found someone to buy my stock. He said that unfortunately but the earliest to ship is in 2 weeks. So hopefully I will get a call at the end of this week or early next week. *Fingers Crossed*

If it's more than 2 weeks, i'm going with a different company most likely...
