    New Iron Advice...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I've been working on my swing and I need to get new irons. I'm probably the worst golfer on AZ since everyone that posts shoots scratch golf and drives 350yards.

But I'm looking at the Mizuno MX-25 irons due to the the cavity back and the forgiveness that I've read about them. I shoot in the mid 90s right now due to the new swing, but was high 80s before....

    Any other suggestions?

    Re: New Iron Advice...

From my untrained eye, it seems like EVERYONE is using the Taylormade R7 at the golf course these days. These by far are the most common clubs my friends have too. They love it, and their games are better for it - all evidenced by my losing skins more often than before.

My personal opinion is that the long irons being replaced by hybrids is a big difference. Before i could always count on someone shanking a 3-iron and now it is a good certainty they'll get on the green from 190 away

mizunos are great clubs, I have hit a ton of irons and I found that I personally like the feel of a well hit mizuno the best.
TRY a shitload of clubs before you commit, as they can get quite expensive quickly.
