    Re: Apartment dwellers...where to wash?

I ordered this to wash my roommate's project car and my boat, both of which are in the garage. I haven't had the time to use it, but I hear it's a good product. I may get a chance to do it this weekend, I'll update if I do.

How about going to a pay n spray wash, but bringing your own wash mitt, towels etc... Just don't ever use their foam brushes on your paint work. I've done this when I needed a quick wash and my paint hasn't suffered.

Thats how I did it. PITA, but you gotta do something!

Having QD and some MF towels to wipe off the water that drips down the side of the car during the drive home is essential to maintaining that "just washed" look. Otherwise you'll always have water spots.

Put about a gallon of water in your wash bucket and throw it on the front passenger floor. Don't hit the speed bumps too hard (I guess a top to the bucket would be a bonus). If you're careful, you'll be fine. It's a lot easier than using the car wash's hose to fill the bucket, you will get soaked.
