Gunmetal or gloss black black r8 reps w/ machined face for my red s4?

After my little accident and the fact that apparently the front wheel has more damage to it that I was originally hoping I have decided to pick up some r8 reps. I know some hate

but my car is my daily driver and I would rather spend my money on a exhaust or a drop than expensive wheels.
I was searching az for some reviews of the alloyrus wheels and found these for sale by RAVI for a great price with tires. I want to keep my tires since they are still fine so I found a few places that sell them. I called up Matt from AlloyRUS and he said they have the same wheel coming in a few weeks but in black instead of gunmetal.

Im really torn on what set to get. My car is red with 20% tint. The gunmetal looks amazing on RAVI's car but maybe black would look better?

Gunmetal is gonna look better because you can see the little wings at the ends of the spokes better. That's what makes the R8 wheel look so nice.

^ I agree.

I think the black makes the spokes look too small as well since only the machined part would catch someone's eyes.

I originally voted for black, however after looking at all the pictures on that link I must agree with these guys, the gunmetal looks sick

Black makes the wheel look too open. I've seen pics of it on cars and it doesn't look good at all. Get the gunmetal.

See, I happen to really like the black on a red car.

Maybe if it was all black, but it's not. You will see the silver spokes and they will look tiny. Gives an illustion of a lot of open space which will not look pretty. I'll see if I can find a pic.

FastB7S4 - Yea that is exactly what I was worried about.

I wonder how many company's make these reps, the place RAVI got his from want 910$ shipped but I can find them for 650$ on ebay.
