FS: My 2004 B6 S4 - Warranty - Georgia

I posted this in the classifieds and thought I would post here as well due to the region. What follows is the narrative from the classified ad, and I hope to have pics soon, but I need to wash her first. Anyway, feel free to ask any questions, and thanks for looking.

"I am unfortunately selling my 2004 S4. It has a manual transmission and 61,000 mostly highway miles. All service is up to date. I recently had the plugs replaced and oil changed at 60,000 miles, along with a new fuel filter and fuel pump. May need new tires soon, but otherwise needs noting that I know of. Never tracked or raced; used as my daily driver. The only substantive mod is a Fast Intentions responated cat-back. Car has a lot of options, but no nav, Bose, or sunshades; pretty much everything else. Just let me know what questions you have.

I purchased the Platinum Extended Warranty good for 4 years (until 10/2011) or until 98,000 miles; and will transfer this to the new owner. The ONLY reason I am selling is that I have adjusted my priorities. I love this car, but need to say goodbye. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Oh, and sorry about no pictures, but we have had some terrible weather down here and do not want to post pictures of a dirty car. I'll post when I can."

I live in South Georgia, but travel to Atlanta once a month or so and have relatives in North Georgia and North and Central Florida. Again, thanks for looking.

Wow, thanks for the heads up pyro. I remembered last night that I also forgot the price. As I should have noted, it is Moro Blue with the Silver/White interior, and the wood trim. I am asking $25,000. I will get her all shined up this weekend and post some pics and will be able to email same. I should also mention that the build date is after the early trouble.

25k seems a bit steep for those miles on an 04.

I know it does, but here is my thinking. I did an evalaution on Edmunds and dealer was $23,000 and private party is $21,000. Then I gave value for having the warranty on it, the recent service, and the history I have with the vehicle. I figured I would start at $25,000. Given all of this, what do y'all think would be a fair value? Am I really all that far off?

Considering you're not a dealer with dealer overhead, and picking "Excellent" condition presumes that it has a clean maintenance record, I think the private party value plus $500 for the warranty is more reasonable. Maybe?

I actually picked "clean", and $500 seems a little low, but who knows, you may be right. I'll check that though, thanks for the input.

Update: I decided to go to the woodshed on this and traded her in. She is for sale at a local dealer and can get you in touch with him if you are interested. He hasn't told me what he will ask, but it should be south of what I was asking. If you would like his contact info, just PM me.
