2002 Audi A4 3.0
When resting in drive/park/reverse, my audi will idle roughly. And it's more small bursts/shakes than constant. Also, when I accelerate slowly, it will hesitate, but only when I accelerate slowly- again, little "pops" of vibration. I can make it downshift, or accelerate through it and it's fine. There seems to be a very slight loss of power, but not bad. Also, when I shift into park, there is no change in RPM- doesn't jump up a couple of hundred like most. I'm thinking it may be the O2 censor? Maybe plugs? Coils? What do you think? Is it highly possible that it could be a large engine problem, or likely something small like the mentioned possibilities? The check engine light is on and i did the diagnostics and it gave me 3 codes one for the EVAP, and two for the catalyst (temp. sensor circuit high, and warm-up catalyst below threshold) would these problems be causing the rough idle and/or the rpm "jump" ?
