About concert II head unit.

Hey guys

I currently own an A4 1998 1.8 t&q with an origiinal equipment Audi chorus 1 radio cassette player. Can I change this for a Concert radio / single CD head unit and do away with the auto changer? Does this require any wiring change? Will it just plug and play and will the Driver information system still interact with the stereo. Are they the same size and thus fit the hole in the dash?

Yes it will but you need to get past the CAN-BUS. Simple wiring needed here.

I have a 99.5 with a concert I and would like to switch to a concert II do I have to do this mod as well?
