    What's best for glass?

Does anyone have a good recomendation for a glass cleaner? I've tried windex and a mix of alcohol + distilled water, but nothing takes off the water spots. Looks really bad on the opensky roof of my A3.

If your just using it on glass, try some cleaner wax..it has taken water spots off for me...then go over it with a glass cleaner like Stoner Invisible Glass. Hope it helps!

while i was buffing my car today, i hit the windows with the PC and a mild abrasive and yellow pad. then added a polish and they look great

I have tried all kinds of stuff, but found that Adams glass cleaner and a microfiber towel does the best job. Seriously, its the only time I have ever been able to clean glass and end up with no streaks or spots left, and it has no ammonia so it is safe for tinted windows, unlike windex.

^^^^X2 - the Adam's stuff w/ a mf towel works really well - am very impressed with end results - and really like the fact that it has no ammonia. "Try it, you'll like it..."

    Re: What's best for glass?

Microfibre is the only way to go for glass!

I dont even use any cleaner... i just use my damp shammy when im done wiping the car down and just pass over the glass, then i dry the window down in a buffing style motion. No streaks or spots.

    MF for the MF'n win!

    Re: What's best for glass?

Well I already use an MF on the glass, but I've had no luck buffing them out by hand with just that. I was looking at the Einszett polish and the Adams cleaner already but it sounds like I should give those a try. I'm don't have a PC or other rotary setup yet so I'll hold off on the buffing suggestion. Thanks for all the great comments.
