My city lights for my 2007 audi A4 wont turn off. I turned them off when I got out of the car but it stays on. I get back in the car, start the engine, turn the lights on and off then get out of the car its still doesnt turn off?? Anyone have this problem?

check the light switch. is it only the front citylights, or the tails too?

just the front city lights. The light switch is in the off position..

Did you mess with any codes through Vag-Com? I'm assuming that you didn't since you don't mention anything in your original post. However, I had a similar thing happen when I asked a local shop to try to program city lights and fogs on only... They stayed on the whole time. But they were able to set the codes back to factory settings.

Well the canadian running lights with your headlights off keep the city lights, the amber lights and fog lights to say one even if the headlights are off (we have to set it that way when we sell a car to canada)

I have the same problem sometimes. It comes and goes. Usually once I drive for a few mins and turn the car off again, they go off.

I have noticed that if you leave your blinker in the up or down position the city light and rear lamp will stay illuminated on the corresponding side..

^^ yea they're parking lights so when you're parallel parked people won't hit your car. (kinda dumb i think it looks like someone is leaving the spot lol)

lol yea thats the name, my E320 has the parking lights on the headlight knob.
