You will notice two "prongs" right behind the connector, just pry them away from the connector and pull it straight out

I went through the ECU box with my gauge. It was a PAIN to get the cover off the box because my wipers felt like they were welded on. Once I got that elusive last screw out of the back of the ECU box I just threw it away. Now I don't have to remove the wiper to remove the ECU cover.

The best and by far the easiest way to route the vacuum line is through the rubber grommet my the clutch pedal and through the wheel well.

^the wipers are tricky to get off...its not that theyre tight. Its the angle i think more so.

I strongly recommend that you take the time to replace the back screw. After the cover goes through a few hot/cold cycles it will begin to warp if it isn't tightened evenly. The next thing you know you will be posting on AZ wondering why your cooling fan runs all the time (because it will be sitting in water). I can't tell you how many times this problem has surfaced over the years.

    cheers!

Glad to see you got the package, and that you're happy, haha.

I actually packaged that box myself. I ended up using quite a bit of foam packing, as you probably noticed.
This box does not currently receive PM's. Please direct all inquiries to Charles (VMRWheels) or Peter (Peter@VMRWheels).

That's enough to put the fear in me! My friend with a B5 recommended leaving out the screw b/c he did. I swear it took an hour just to get the drivers wiper off. I never could get the passenger side, but I was able to lift up the trim to get to that last ECU screw. It's going to be a B!TCH to get that wiper off again.
