does such a thing exist im looking for one for my 2000 Passat which would be the same as a A4, anyone know if one even exists or can the stock rack be rebuilt and made into a quick ratio rack. any idea if an S4 rack is a different ratio than the A4 rack?

    Re: Quick ratio steering rack?

I've been wondering if I can fit a hot rod rack with variable ratio but I haven't taken any measurements yet. The tentative (and lazy) plan is a slim profile universal rack with stainless rod ends (Heim joints, Rose ends, etc.), forged aluminum adjustment barrels, and stainless rod ends to connect to the upright.
