Pagid Sport Blue pads. Best fronts with sensors for our cars out there....in fact I would strongly argue that Pagid makes the best pads for our cars period...including aftermarket stoptech, brembo, and stasis setups.

they can get a little dusty....but not as bad as OEM. They are not ceramics...keep that in mind...so dust is a fact of life with them.

I've read great things about the Ferodo DS2500, but I also hear that they're very dusty (about the same or greater than OEM pads).

    Not true?

You'll get idiot light on dash, but it's easy to to make it so that won't happen. Simple wire thing. Totally reversable if you want to change it back. Takes 10 seconds.

I run Hawk HPS for street and ferodo for track. Love them both.

keep in mind, i have the humble(or puny) OEM brakes (3.0 front rotors) ( i think your stoptechs bite a little bit harder!) but ive had them a week.. i washed the car after bedding them in and thats it... there isnt any noticeable dust on them and ive been stomping on them pretty hard, i am expecting them to be dustier than my hawk ceramics but so far im very happy, ill keep you posted

BTW i searched for days and read a hundred posts ill bet about pads...the general concensus i got was the ferodos are a tad dustier but well worth the stopping capabilities they have and thats why i ultimately decided on them

Re: best brake pads with sensors?

My ferodos dust like a bitch and need warmed up before they really bite. That's fine for track, but I need immediate cold stopping power for street.
HPS bite great cold and have little dust. They fade at extended high heat situations, where the ferodos are just starting to work great.
So, I wouldn't think of running one type of pad for all applications. Luckily the Stoptechs can have pads switched in minutes, so it isn't a big deal to swap out pads for various applications.

EDIT: Keep in mind that I'm runnig track-specific ferodos, not their street application.

Re: best brake pads with sensors?

Hawk HPS pads are always good choice. You can get them from Tirerack with sensors. However you can also use pads without a sensor but you will get a warning light in your display. To avoid this you can make a jumper. The pads that come with sensors have two wires coming out of the pad that end with a male connector. the male connector plugs into a female connector that is mounted on a bracket beside the brake backer plate. You cut the wires where they come out of the old OEM brake pad and hook the two wires together. You are essentially turning the male connector into a jumper wire that you plug back into the female connector. The "sensor" is nothing more than a wire loop that is embedded into the pad. Once the pads wear down far enough the loop wears through, thus breaking the circuit and giving you the warning light. You will be recreating the loop outside of the pad to circumvent the light.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Cheers!

Re: best brake pads with sensors?

Whatever you get, make sure they also have good stopping power in the rain as well. Oh and many aftermarket pads start to develop that insane rattling noise when you are at low speeds going over bumps. You can prevent this if properly installed or re-adjusted them.

I've got the Axis Ultimate pads. They are pretty good in dry weather. Scary horrible in wet weather. Dust and wear about the same as the originals. Hardly hear any squealing.

I know I have posted this before but here it is again. I have used this stuff for years and I never have to deal with brake squeal or pad rattle. This stuff is cheap and quite simply it works!
