In Austria or Australlia they call it a Turbo Beenie.

I've seen a few of these at shows, wondering if anyone wants to get a group buy going? looks trick and keeps engine bay temps down.

What do you guys think?

"IF" i ever get a BT, ill be getting one of those and ceramic coating the TP (i dont like the looks of the wrap)

shitty mika tune from ATP (came with the car) ---> getting Uni 630 file
stock flywheel (machined)
southbend clutch that never slips I launch my car daily

bilstien pss-9's on firm
neuspeed rear sway
getting rs4 front
3.0L brakes I got off an Audi A6 2.7T (work pretty good)
drilled rear rotors
used up a set of stock front pads in 3 months

its not going to increase the actual temperature - just confine it, so it shouldnt over-heat

the idea is that keeping the energy in the gas (limiting it's dissipation through radiation) increases velocity.

basically you want to limit all the ways in which you lower the efficiency of your "system" and this is one of them

Basically, increase in velocity = decrease in lag. JUST A LITTLE. NOT A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Main thing is, will help keep engine bay temps down more, especially if you have heat wrap around your test pipe, etc. Help reduce paint bubble on the hood. Plus it looks trick!
